Изложба „Еротиката на Стоян Венев през погледа на Богомил Райнов“ се открива в столичната галерия „Васка Емануилова“ - филиал на СГХГ на бул. „Янко Сакъзов“ 15, в четвъртък от 18.30 ч. и ще може да бъде разгледана там до 29 април.

Сред малкото автори, в чиито произведения се открива по-устойчиво присъствие на еротичното, е Стоян Венев. Именно това наследство може да бъде видяно в изложбата.

В началото на 60-те години на миналия век, когато Богомил Райнов се завръща в България от Париж, където е културен аташе към нашето посолство, той е ангажиран с написването на монография за художника Стоян Венев. Многото срещи между двамата водят до зараждането на трайно приятелство, в което художникът разкрива една своя дълго прикривана страст – интереса към еротиката. Голото човешко тяло, изтъкано от желание, страстта между мъжа и жената са намерили изява в творчеството на Венев, към което писателят проявява жив интерес и през цялото десетилетие откупува произведения от приятеля си. Това са десетки листове, изпълнени с акварел, туш или молив, които остават задълго скрити в личния архив на Богомил Райнов. След смъртта му те попадат в частни колекции, но днес значителната част от тях могат да бъдат видени в оригинал в настоящата изложба.

Изложбата е част от проекта „Отвъд пуританизма: скритите рисунки от архива на Стоян Венев през погледа на Богомил Райнов“ и се реализира в партньорство с издателство „Лист“ и с финансовата подкрепата на културната програма за българското председателство на Съвета на ЕС на Национален фонд „Култура“.
